AUDITION MATERIALS: BASS

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS: CSOYO Auditions will include scales, excerpts, and SIGHTREADING (new this season).

 

STRINGS auditioning for SYMPHONY, please prepare:

  1. Scales - prepare the listed scales in the range and tempo indicated.
  2. Excerpts- Prepare Excerpts #1, 2, 3 and 4 (violins should also prepare Excerpt A)
  1. Sightreading

Strings auditioning for SYMPHONY will be also considered for PHILHARMONIC and will be placed in the appropriate orchestra based on their overall scores.

 

STRINGS auditioning for PHILHARMONIC, please prepare:

  1. Scales- prepare the listed scales in the range and tempo indicated.
  2. Excerpts- prepare Excerpts #3, 4, 5 and 6
  3. Sightreading

Strings auditioning for PHILHARMONIC will be also considered for ETUDE and will be placed in the appropriate orchestra based on their overall scores.
